One of the most effective nationally used relationship and marriage programs for adolescents. This creative approach introduces important concepts for success in establishing and sustaining meaningful life relationships. Specific topics addressed in this popular skill-based program include: building on individual strengths, how family experiences shape relationship expectations, developing positive conflict resolution strategies, setting life goals, and improving listening and communication patterns. Lessons that discuss marriage encourage an understanding of the nature of commitment, recognizing the differences between imitation and genuine love, and establishing a long-term view of marriage. The program concludes with marriage game activities that have become a big favorite for boys and girls alike. Ready-to-teach. Includes PREP concepts. Eighteen one-hour lessons.
Both connections curricula can be used as either stand-alone instruction or as infusion lessons to existing teen relationship education programs. Research on the Connections series has shown them to be effective tools for reducing negative patterns and developing positive attitudes and important life skills. Each curriculum offers lessons that can be taught in a variety of youth settings; in the classroom, teen pregnancy prevention programs, after-school and community programs, and within the health community. The flexible lesson formats are easy to use by all levels of instructor expertise.

Recognized as a teen dating violence reduction and pregnancy prevention program, this innovative research-based life skills curriculum helps adolescents develop healthy dating practices and self-regulate intense emotions. Engaging and highly interactive lessons in this ready-to-teach program have been shown to reduce aggressive behaviors at home and at school and improve peer / peer and peer / parent communication. The lessons identify how positive relationships grow, destructive behavior and communication patterns that harm relationships, healthy ways of understanding and expressing feelings, and the importance of developing positive resiliency skills. Very user friendly. Includes PREP concepts. Seventeen one-hour lessons.

This curriculum focuses on the challenging world of friendships and romantic relationships. Interpersonal skills are taught on topics such as identifying good
and bad relationships, resolving common dating problems, and breaking up.
Both curricula are 15 lesson infusion programs that can be taught anywhere, by anyone. Many schools and youth programs across the country are currently using Connections and international interest is growing rapidly.
